About the Wine
This superb red wine from Bolla is made in the Valpolicella area of Veneto. Available in 25cl single serve bottles, supplied by GIV Grouppo Italiano Vini. Valpolicella is a delighful wine, made with Garganega and Trebbiano/Ugni Blanc grapes. This cork closed wine is made with added-sulphites. Light and fresh red, a flexible choice to partner with a range of dishes from simple chicken to spicy lamb or beef.
Corvina is an Italian wine grape that is sometimes also referred to as Corvina Veronese or Cruina. Grown almost entirely within the Veneto region of northeast Italy, with some in Argentina.

The Bolla winery began in 1883 in the small town of Soave, east of Verona, where Abele Bolla and his wife Giulia ran an inn that was renowned for its kind hospitality and excellent wines. With the help of his sons,this passion for excellent wines became a real full-time business. In the first half of the 20th century, the Bolla family began to make red wines in Piemonte, in the heart of the Valpolicella region, where the historic winery was founded and still exists today.
