About the Wine
This sparkling white wine is made by Villa Conchi in Catalunya. Delicious with salty and fried seafood, rice and rustic chicken dishes. Formed from primarily Xarel.Lo grapes, this wine is vegetarian. You shouldn't find this wine anywhere else, it is exclusive to Matthew Clark. Supplied by Araex.
The wines have a taste mildly acidic, mildly alcoholic variety, with flavours of grapefruits and citrus. Macabeo is also call Viura and is the primary blending grape in Cava sparkling wines.

Javier Galarreta is the founder of a group of 16 independent winegrowers. The Villa Conchi Cava range is named in homage of Javier Galarreta’s mother “Conchi”, who loved and enjoyed sparkling wine but only those that showed elegance and distinction. Her taste was an inspiration for Javier’s quest to produce a ‘different’ Cava style with a fresher character than is traditional.
