First steps on the moon' is a blend of 80% Roussanne and 20% Grenache Blanc. The grapes are macerated for about 20 hours, which contributes to the wine’s rich, spicy mouth-feel, before tank fermentation and fine lees contact and ‘batonnage’. The nose reveals peach and grapefruit and a note of minerality; the palate is ample with some tropical fruit, floral notes and spice on a long finish.
