Kleine Zalze Cellar Selection Merlot, Coastal Region
Merlot is fast growing in popularity in terms of vineyard plantings in South Africa, this example uses fruit from vineyards close to the winery. Part of the blend is matured in French oak barrels for six months, the balance held in stainless steel vats. A wine with ripe blackcurrant fruit and typical soft, juicy tannins.
