Could you be the next winner of Bartender Battles?
Matthew Clark and Pernod Ricard have teamed up once again to give UK bartenders the chance to win a once in a lifetime trip to Mexico with Altos Tequila.
Now in its third year, Bartender Battles 2025 looks set to be our most exciting competition yet. We’re on the lookout for UK-based bartenders who are keen to show off their cocktail making flair.
If you work behind the bar in Great Britain (excluding Northern Ireland), join us in celebrating the creativity and mastery of cocktail making by entering Bartender Battles 2025 and show off your skills to the nation.
The Details
Commencing on 26th August 2025, the competition will comprise of three rounds taking place via Instagram. Round 1 invites bartenders from across the UK to make a video of themselves creating and mixing a cocktail using a combination of products and ingredients of their choice - including at least 40 millimetres of any Pernod Ricard product. Upload to Instagram, making sure to tag @matthewclarkltd and fill in the entry form that can be found below. Judges will be looking for creativity and originality.
Entries for round 1 close on 12th September 2025 – you have until midnight to submit your entry, otherwise, it won’t be counted! Successful contestants will be contacted via Matthew Clark’s official Instagram account @matthewclarkltd by latest Monday 15th September, with details of the next round shared then.
Bartenders lucky enough to make it to the fourth and final round will be invited to Pernod Ricard HQ in Chiswick for a live head-to-head battle, focused on making creative cocktails using Altos Tequila.
The Prize
The lucky winner and a friend will be taken on an all-expenses paid 3-night trip to Mexico, the home of Altos Tequila in February 2026. The prize includes an authentic Mexican tequila experience, plus travel and accommodation.
