Hand-picked Pinot Grigio grapes were fermented in stainless steel until almost completely dry, a short period of lees ageing is also employed to develop texture and aroma. The nose shows intense classic pear and apple-like fragrances with elegant hints of citrus. The palate, dry on entry, reveals a good structure and lingering, refreshing savouriness.

Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris are one in the same grape variety, but quite different in style. Pinot Grigio has gained an immense following in the UK, and most hails from north-east Italy, Veneto. It's lighter in style and best drunk young. Pinot Gris tends to have more body and is more vicious in texture.
