Côte de Beaune-Villages, Bouchard Aîné & Fils
The Pinot Noir grapes for this elegant, soft wine are sourced from vineyards around 14 Côte de Beaune villages. Vinification takes place in wooden vats, followed by maturation in oak, 20% new oak, for 12 months. Cherry-red in colour, it shows red and black berry fruit on the nose and a note of vanilla on the palate.

The thin skin means it's very light in colour body and tannin, it characteristically has searing acidity and full lingering flavours of raspberry, strawberry, cherry, violets and sweet spice.
