About the Wine
This terrific fortified Wine produced by Dalva originates from the Douro. This wine is exclusive to Matthew Clark, you won't find it at multiple retailers. Available in 75cl bottles, supplied by C. da Silva Vinhos. Dalva 10 Year Old Tawny Port is a mouth-watering wine, made from Blend grapes. This wine has a cork closure and is available to order online today. Complex nutty aromas combined with hints of honey and fig; the palate is rich and displays mature fruit flavours and spice, beautifully mellowed with a luscious long finish.
The vineyards of the Douro region, home of the Port denomination, find their expression in the unique, world famous Dalva wines. The wines are produced under exceptional conditions on terraces in the first demarcated and regulated wine region in the world. The grapes are then vinified in the new winery with the latest technologies in the wine sector. It is in then in Vila Nova de Gaia cellars that, year after year, the wines develop character according to the ageing processes.
