Discover Love Inspire tasting success!

Wow, what a day! Our biggest wine portfolio tasting ever took place this week at Tobacco Dock in London. We had a huge turnout as visitors flocked to our Discover, Love Inspire tasting, 40% more than last year! 

We loved seeing the huge array of customers, prospects and producers enjoying the day as we encouraged everyone to #BeInspired by the wines and people at the tasting.

Our guests were spoilt for choice with the opportunity to discover wines from all sides of the globe with over 190 new premium lines to fall in love with; beginning with a Prosecco welcome, our guests were invited to trot round the globe tasting from cool-climate South African producer Shannon Vineyards from Elgin Valley to coastal Californian producer Meiomi. From the Old World names including cutting edge producer Casa Rojo, award winning Chianti producer Vicchiomaggio, top Burgundy producer Remoissenet Père & Fils, and renowned Rhône winery Dauvergne Ranvier – we were filled to the rafters with quality wines to taste and enjoy.

Our masterclasses proved super popular, and saw over 280 eager attendees pass through our buzzing theatre. Michelin starred chef Marco Pierre White demonstrated how to pair top ingredients with wines from producers including artisan producer Ceres from Central Otago, Rhône wine personality Jean Luc Colombo, and Mosel legend Dr Loosen. Elsewhere, Champagne Taittinger offered our customers the chance to preview upcoming vintages of its prestige cuvees at its Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs Futurtech tasting, the first masterclass of its kind to be held outside of France! Now that’s cutting edge!

Pushing the barriers even further, our virtual vineyard proved extremely popular – placed in our generator bar, we transported our guests across the globe to see if they could guess the grape variety whilst immersing themselves in virtual vineyard. With sounds and smells to interact with whilst drinking the wines, we’re pretty sure no one else is giving their customers this experience in the On-Trade!
