We opened Salt House Tapas four years ago on Paradise Street in L1 in the old Bishop of Liverpool Residence, bringing high quality tapas to Liverpool city centre. A year later we opened Hanover Street Social, a New York style Brassiere serving modern brassiere food from breakfast till midnight.

In March this year we opened Salt House Bacaro on Castle Street, specializing in serving traditional Venetian small platters, in the centre of Liverpool’s Business district, which has had a fantastic opening three months.

We started using Matthew Clark 3 years ago when we encountered problems with our previous supplier. After my initial meeting with our account manager, Tracy Harper I was reassured we would be dealing with a professional and competent business. Tracy promised to solve all of the issues that we had and, true to her word, delivered.

Over the past three years she has worked alongside us as we have opened 2 more restaurants in Liverpool city centre. Not only has the service been excellent and flexible as it needs to be in a busy city centre location, but Tracy has also worked with our managers to build up an amazing range of drinks for each restaurant, which is challenging as each restaurant has a different offer.

We have been able to utilise a lot of the wide ranging training on offer, be it on drinks such as Bourbon, Campari, Estrella and many more, and this has really benefited our business as the level of staff knowledge has improved immensely which makes it easier to sell to our customers.
