Oaked, intense, concentrated reds

- Some good combinations are possible with spicy foods but careful experimentation is required

About the Wine
This red wine is made by Piccini in Toscana. Rich and intense flavours that are perfect for full-flavoured beef and pasta dishes. Formed from primarily Sangiovese grapes, this wine is ethically produced, vegan and vegetarian friendly. You shouldn't find this wine anywhere else, it is exclusive to Matthew Clark. At its best Sangiovese produces great wines, such as Chianti, Brunello di Montalchino as well as used in blends coined as Super Tuscans. Sangiovese is high in acidity with a sour red cherry fruit character, and sometimes quite earthy with grippy tannin.
