About the Wine

This enjoyable red wine produced by Couly Dutheil is made in the Chinon area of the Loire Valley. Available in 75cl bottles, distributed in the UK by Couly Dutheil. Couly Dutheil Chinon Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil “Les Aisselieres” is a delighful wine, made from Chenin Blanc grapes. This cork closed wine is created with added sulphites. Like many wines in our list, this wine is suitable for vegan diets. The Domaine‘s vineyards are all grassed throughout and run according to the rules of sustainable agriculture, the estate has placed an increasing emphasis on high foliage, de-leafing around the bunches to keep the grapes healthy an then picking as late as possible to get full phenolic ripeness.
