Château Talbot 4ème Cru Classé, Saint-Julien

Château Talbot 4ème Cru Classé, Saint-Julien

Named after John Talbot, the last Governor of Bordeaux during the period of English ownership in the 15th century. The blend is traditionally two-thirds Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot making up the greater proportion of the balance. A wine with a good, solid reputation. Showing good concentration and complexity on the nose with aromas of cedar and dried fruits and a syrupy, elegant richness to the palate.
