Available in 75cl bottles, distributed in the UK by Les Grands Chais de France. Cave de Massé Merlot-Carignan Red, Vin de France is a mouth-watering wine, made from Carignan grapes. This screwcap wine is now available to order via MC Live. Good with light Mediterranean dishes with cream, cheese or tomato sauces.
Merlot produces medium bodied, fleshy, juicy wines with round tannins. Often seen as a single varietal, or in a blend with Cabernet Sauvignon to take the hard edges off. Its grown all over the world and commercially one of the most important red grapes in the on-trade.
Carignan is a red grape variety of Spanish origin that is more commonly found in French wine but is widely planted throughout the western Mediterranean and around the globe.
