This year’s festive season may be well under way but it’s not too late to add some new serves to your offering. Consumers are more willing than ever to try new things and pay more for quality serves, so adding a little festive touch to some classic serves and ensuring it’s easier than ever for them to treat themselves will not just enhance their experience in your venue but also add some valuable extra profits to the till.
Here are Tom's 5 simple drinks to impress your customers and maximise profits this Christmas:
Festive G&T – Add a little festive cheer to your G&T by garnishing it with a wedge of orange and a cinnamon stick. Simple, seasonal and tasty!
Spiced Rum & Apple – Spiced Rum and cloudy apple juice gives you all the favourite flavours of a good winter pudding. Apple, vanilla, caramel. Yum! And super simple. Just mix Spiced Rum and cloudy apple juice over ice with a squeeze of fresh lime.
Christmas Thyme – A great use of fresh ingredients synonymous with Christmas. Shake a sprig of fresh sage and thyme with a heaped teaspoon of cranberry jelly, 50ml of Bourbon and 75ml of apple juice. Strain over ice and garnish with fresh sage and thyme.
Snowflake – Shake 12.5 ml of Vodka, 12.5ml of any good chocolate liqueur and 25ml of Frangelico together with 75ml of milk. Strain over ice and garnish with a dusting of nutmeg or a cinnamon stick. Christmas indulgence in a glass!
Fizz by the glass - Now this isn’t exactly ground breaking stuff but you will be amazed how many bars and restaurants only sell fizz by the bottle. Offering it by the glass can offer everyone the opportunity to treat themselves without having to worry about buying a whole bottle. Simple idea but one that will prove to be invaluable, especially over the festive period.
