Perfectly pick your ciders!

Perfectly Picked Cider Apples.JPG

While the beer boom has taken most of the headlines in recent years it’s worth nothing that cider performs much better in the On-Trade than in the off. It’s a versatile product whose producers have not stopped moving the sector forward.

While innovation in fruit ciders was a major source of growth in the past we believe that going forward provenance and authenticity are going to be valued much more highly this summer, that’s while you’ll see this reflected in our Perfectly Picked range with new additions from Ciderboys and Angry Orchard in the US, Sheppys and Sandford Orchard in the UK and Sxolli from South Africa.

Cider now accounts for 8.5% of the total On-Trade and has continued to grow in the last 12 months up 0.8% in value MAT* with consumers looking for a more premium product and experience when they go out. With cider appealing to a broad range of age groups and occasions and with so much choice in the market now is a great time to review your range and offer your customers something new.

So! What’s new in this year’s Perfectly Picked Cider collection to excite your customers this summertime? With rumours flying around that we may see a Spanish Plume arriving bringing with it a prolonged heatwave it’s the perfect time to get stocked up!
