5 cocktails for Mother's Day

Cocktails Mum

Is there any better way of showing your mum just how much you care than by giving her the gift of a delicious cocktail? We've selected 5 cocktails below that we think Mums will adore and are perfect menu additions if you're laying on a boozy brunch or tipsy afternoon tea offering for Mothering Sunday and beyond.

Both boozy brunches and tipsy teas are great ways to benefit from the ‘experience’ gifting trend that's currently in-vogue. High margin food, with the addition of high margin cocktails and Champagne, all wrapped up in one package that can be pre-booked and gifted to mums.

Ketel One Bloody Mary

A classic Brunch cocktail thought to have been invented in the 1930s.

  • 2 tbsp chopped yellow pepper
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 pinch celery salt
  • 20ml cream sherry
  • 8 drops of hot sauce

Rim your glass with grounded black pepper and celery salt before adding all ingredients to your glass, stir vigorously and fill with ice.

Is there any cocktail that says 'ladies who lunch' more than the Cosmopolitan? Popularised in recent years by Sex and the City.

  • 25 ml Orange Liqueur
  • 25 ml Lime Juice
  • 5ml Cranberry Juice
