Shake all the ingredients vigorously with cubed ice, fine strain into a chilled Martini glass. Grate single origin chocolate over the top to garnish.

Valentine’s Day and bubbles go together very well. With a whopping 26% of cocktail consumers drinking sparkling cocktails and Tequila growing quickly in the trade, all roads point to the Ruby Spritzer being a popular serve this February. It bursts with a deep red colour and is romantically presented, all backed up with a fruity, citrusy flavour and that hint of sparkle.

Method

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice to chill. Strain into a champagne flute and garnish with a lemon twist.

Is there any greater symbol of love and affection than a single Rose? Probably only one thing, a cocktail with a single Rose extruding from it. If there ever was a cocktail more perfect for Valentines than this creation from Marie Brizard then we haven’t seen it. It isn’t all about its good looks however, it tastes very good too!

Method

In a tumbler glass, smash softly the redcurrants with the vodka.  Add the rest of the ingredients directly to the glass and fill with crushed ice.  Mix with a bar spoon.  Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary and a rose.

Chocolat Luxe Mocha Martini

In the theme of the indulgence of the occasion, try this classy chocolate cocktail with a rich, smooth flavour, frothy finish and coffee kick. It offers a great upsell opportunity for an after-dinner drink or even as an alternative for those that don’t want a dessert.

Method

Pop all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake it up until everything is perfectly blended and the liquid is silky smooth. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with three coffee beans.
