Passo Sardo Vino Rosso, Isola dei Nuragi

Passo Sardo Vino Rosso, Isola dei Nuragi

A blend of Grenache, Carignan and Graciano; known as Cannonou, Carignano and Bovale Sardo in Sardinia; the grapes are sourced from vineyards right across the island. The Nuraghi, that define this production area, are conical stone towers that dot the Sardinian landscape. They were built between 1900 BC and 730 BC, and are so culturally representative of this period that it has come to be known as the Nuragic Age. The wine itself shows a heady mixture of ripe red and black fruits with a pinch of spice.
