Graeme Oliver, a member of Matthew Clark’s Premium Wine Team, has just been accredited by L’Ecole du Vin in Bordeaux (the wine school of the CIVB) as an International Bordeaux Educator. He is one of only 22 individuals in the UK to achieve this status.
The CIVB programme, through which Graeme gained this award, offers the opportunity for leading wine educators from around the world to go to Bordeaux, perfect and update their Bordeaux knowledge and access the latest marketing and technical information about Bordeaux’s constantly changing world.
Graeme Oliver said “The course was phenomenal, a great opportunity to develop a real understanding of wines from Bordeaux . I found it genuinely inspirational and have now started reading and studying more to improve my knowledge even further. ”
Robin Knapp, Wine Director, Matthew Clark said “We work closely with the CIVB to offer our customers access to all the knowledge and wine expertise that comes from the Bordeaux region. This accreditation means one of our one team will be able to share some of that experience on a day to day basis. Hopefully additional members of our will follow in his footsteps over the next year.”
