Harvested in September of 1975, this seminal Vintage has been maturing slowly over the years. Muscular notes. Not to everybody’s taste, but one for the true connoisseurs. After leaving Leeds University with a degree in German, I began my drinks career with Bass Brewers (now Molson-Coors). Five years later I moved into a National Accounts role in the Health & Beauty market, with Beiersdorf (Nivea). But the lure of the drinks business, and particularly the wine market, was too strong and I joined MC in October 2010 as a SAM and was promoted to WDS in February 2016.
Why do I love the On-Trade?
I love the variety of the trade. One moment you’re negotiating on price and credit terms with a wily publican, and the next you’re hobnobbing with Sommeliers and Hotel Managers, over a glass or two of Champagne.
