After completing my degree in International Hospitality Management, I worked for 5 years within Whitbread restaurants groups, TGI Fridays and Bella Pasta. Taking the knowledge gained, I took on a Brakspear tenancy in 1998 and successfully transformed a tired village local into a bustling Gastro pub. 12 years later, and with a young family in tow, I took the brave decision to introduce myself to them and pursue a career not so weekend centric. I joined Matthew Clark in 2010 as a Sales Account Manager, quickly moving into a New Business Development role. My experience as an operator was instrumental in my success and I took that, along with a sound knowledge of the drinks market to the National Account team in 2013. With a successful 15 months under my belt, the opportunity to move back to the regions and lead the new business team in London and the South East, was too good to miss and has proven to be the best job I've had with Matthew Clark, so far!

As long as people are at the forefront of the On-Trade, it will remain the exciting, ever changing industry I was drawn to at 18, that continues to capture my imagination.
